20 weeks

Today was our Ultrasound and everything looks good with Peanut. They did a whole anatomy scan to make sure all of the limbs, organs and major bones look good. They also checked the placenta and umbilical cord and everything looks perfect. Peanut was very active and would not stay still! The baby was apparently kicking my bladder senseless but I couldn't really feel it. I am happy to report that Peanut weighs in at a healthy 14 oz. Our little miracle is almost 1 lb. They took all sorts of measurements and based on those measurements moved my due date up a whopping one day to June 12th. We adverted temptation and did not find out what sex Peanut is. We figure that there are only so many big surprises in life and decided that for us, it was worth it to wait until the baby is born. I'm not sure that the technician herself even really looked. I've got some pictures of the baby that I will try and post as soon as I have a chance to figure out how my scanner works.

20 weeks

Halfway there!! Where's the bump? Don't know..I'm at a loss for words. I'm eating like a champ and I really am gaining weight! I have def been feeling the baby move everyday now. Right now it feels like little air bubbles under my skin. It's very cute, I just can't wait for Ray to be able to feel the baby move from the outside. Tomorrow we go for our Ultrasound. We are super excited about that...check back then!

17 1/2 weeks

17 1/2 weeks....

...and all is well

Tomorrow is my monthly doctor's appt and I'm feeling great! I think I'm getting my energy (and appetite) back. Ray's bringing me home some Chic-Fil-A tonite after the gym and if I'm craving anything yet...it's that!!! Although, maybe I'm not craving, its just an excuse to eat bad once in awhile because I feel like I can justify it more now that its okay to pack on the pounds! I think I'm approaching 10lbs. total weight gain so far. I don't mind gaining the weight, I just hope thatI don't end up like those women who gain something ridiculous like 80 lbs.

Since my belly pictures still haven't been all that impressive (thanks Dawn for making me look bad) I decided to try a different strategy with the picture this time and to put it in better context by keeping my clothes on! Maybe it will make a difference.

Thanks for checking in.
