WOW what an ugly baby....
...I was! Thankfully, I have a stunning personality to make up for it.
My mother thinks that these pictures of me as a baby look like Alexa. I hope that my daughter is better looking than this. OMG Mom, I look like an old man. The one does show me with some chunky cheeks...so I guess that I can see some of Alexa in that picture.

Baby Sick Day
Alexa was sent home early today from daycare today because she is sick. Although she love love loves daycare, its been a rough start since this is the second time she has been sick in a week. I was expecting her to be sick but I guess that I didn't think it would happen twice in one week. I guess it finally gives me a chance to write and to post more pictures. We are starting to wonder if Alexa likes being at daycare better than being with us! She is very happy when Ray drops her off in the morning and still smiling fat cheek to fat cheek when I pick her up. Her friend Dominic is in the same room and she likes to show her affection towards him by punching him in the head all the time. Her teachers so far have given her lots of compliments. She eats well, sleeps well and enjoys playing with and watching the other babies. Yesterday she started doing art projects! Not sure exactly what art projects a 4 month old is involved in, but she did come home with ink on her foot...so I'm guessing that it had something to do with making footprints. We are thrilled that she is happy there and mommy is happy to be back at work too. Although I miss my little princess during the day, it is nice to get a break from her and great to feel like a productive member of society again! Plus, it makes the time that we do spend together as a family all that much more special.
